Know Your Plan Is Right
During the design phase of any building project, a Feng Shui consultation is well
worth the time and investment. Knowing your plans have the best flow of energy
will avoid problems that could negatively impact the finished project.
I review architectural drawings from a Feng Shui perspective, bringing inspiring
ideas and solutions if needed. Also, I consult on color, lighting, materials,
landscaping, and any of the endless decisions made throughout any project.
An Italian Farm House Restoration
The clients were preparing an extensive renovation of a two-hundred-year farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy. Wisely, they wanted the Feng Shui of their plans reviewed during the design process before starting construction. Through our discussions, they became familiar with all aspects of their project, and it came alive for them. They understood what they wanted and how it would look and feel. They were thrilled with the results and felt confident their design was good. During a series of meetings, we discussed the optimal Feng Shui for every room based on their blueprints and photos. For each session, I presented a detailed description with simple drawings and mood boards for all aspects of Feng Shui in the project.
Also, I created a landscape design based on the property’s Feng Shui and their style. The entrance to the house, driveway, placement of the pool, sitting areas, and gardens were all addressed and designed with visual examples to help the clients experience the finished project.
I documented changes and inspiration in a 25-page report
detailing the ideas and plans as a guide for their future reference.
